Attention volunteers: The 2015 Pan Am Games (July 10 to 26) and the Parapan Am Games (Aug. 7 to 15) need your help. So far, the games committee has received more than 10,000 applications, only half of what is needed to pull this event together. As the world’s third largest multi-sport event, the committee looks to 16 Ontario municipalities for support, Welland and St Catharines included. If you want to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, please review the qualifications and positions listed below.

- Strong communicator in English, with French, Spanish, and Portuguese as an asset

- Accommodating and flexible
Volunteers Receive:
- Volunteer certification
- An official Pan Am / Parapan Am uniform
- Refreshments and meals (on shift)
- Access to public transit
- Invitation to special recognition events
- A comprehensive training program
Currently, Ceremony Performers and Entertainment Registry volunteers are needed, as well as those who wish to join Enterprise Risk Assurance or Community Outreach. Should you choose to apply, the form takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Candidates that submit with all required skills and experience will attend an interview in June. Those selected will begin their positions in September. Let the games begin!
