The Ontario Power Generation’s Winter Festival of Lights has already begun and will continue to illuminate Niagara Falls until January 31st, 2014. Over three million lights can be seen along the falls’ scenic 5km route. Several spectacles have also been installed throughout the city for residents and tourists to enjoy. This event appears on the list of Top 100 Internationally Known Events — so as always, this is not an event to miss!
Ball’s Falls Christmas celebration begins on December 7th with Breakfast with Santa. Seatings are available at 9am and noon — admission for adults $12, youth $8, and children $4. On the following day, part-take in the Christmas with Santa event, where loads of activities and live entertainment will fill the crisp air with laughter and cheer. The Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club’s 13th Annual Christmas Choral Concert will be on December 15th at the Shaw Festival Theatre. Performances begin at 7pm; tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. This is an open-seating event. All proceeds are in support of the St. George Outreach Breakfast Program.
