Here’s What’s Happening This Holiday:

 

Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival

October 11 to 14, South of Vineland on Regional Road 24

This weekend marks the 39th anniversary of the Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival. Running from 10am to 5pm all weekend long, come check-out this event’s superb line-up of acts and vendors. Please show your support as this is a major fundraising event for the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA).

Admission: $6 per adult, $4 per senior (only on Friday), and free for children under 14 years of age who are accompanied by an adult.

Thanksgiving Dinner at the Table Rock Welcome Center

October 12 to 14

This event speaks for itself – delicious food, nice people, and a warm, welcoming environment! Come to the Table Rock Welcome Center to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the heart of Niagara!

Wine Country Kennel Club Dog Show

October 11 to 14 @ 9am, Niagara Regional Exhibition

The 13th annual Kennel Club Dog Show is on this weekend and features more than 800 dogs of over 100 breeds! Many dog breeders will be present at this year’s event, so bring the family to this free show and learn all about the different breeds. Competitions and other festivities will continue throughout the weekend.

Fall Fireworks

October 11th @ 10pm, Queen Victoria Park

This Friday is the last day of the season for Canada’s longest running fireworks series. Kick off the holiday weekend with a bang!

Drummond Hill Cemetery

October 11 @ 7pm

Visit one of the country’s most historic cemeteries this Friday for a night-time walking tour. Participants will encounter several different performances during their tour, in which actors re-enact the story of some of the cemetery’s long-time residents. This event is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Free Children’s Fun Day and Food Drive

October 12 @ 12pm, Camp Park Resort

Swing by Camp Park Resort with one non-perishable food item this Saturday and participate in the many family activities planned. From face-painting to crafts to a haunted house, there’s plenty of fun for everyone!

Thanksgiving Brunch at Queenston Heights Restaurant
